The Advice: The Mallorcan sun is fierce, even in October. Always carry more water than you think you need.

The Rule: Wear proper shoes (no flip-flops on the Boquer Valley trail!).

Easy Walks

Walk 1: Alcanada Coastal Walk.

A gentle, stunning 45-minute walk from the edge of the Port out to the lighthouse beach. Perfect for a pre-lunch stroll.

Tip: Look out for the tiny islet just offshore; it holds the local lighthouse and is shallow enough to wade to on calm days.

Walk 2: Puig de Sant Martí.

A steady 45-minute climb up Alcúdia's local peak. The reward at the summit is a breathtaking 360-degree view across both bays.

Tip: Go late in the afternoon. The sunset from the top over the Tramuntana mountain ridge is spectacular.
